ReVolt Battery Exchange Store License Opportunity
Essential, recession-proof!
Open your own recession-proof ReVolt Battery Exchange battery recycling and sales shop! The one in Reno is doing great. This is new technology in a proven recession-proof business, and it continued to grow revenues through COVID. It has been in operation since 2016, but only available to other entrepreneurs since July of 2019.
In addition to the ongoing revenue, this is a huge equity gain opportunity. Opening your own store means that you get in at the lowest possible cost and can grow equity from that point, rather than paying for it upfront like you would with a turn-key opportunity. This business is typically 50% cash.
Because of our automation and systems, it can be operated with as little as one person, even part-time. And we've made it so simple that even people with hardly any knowledge of batteries can be trained in as little as one week (of the owners who have gone through training so far, none have needed more than a week). Yet it can be expanded incrementally to become a large industrial operation, or more stores can be opened.
The Numbers
What happens when you take a proven, viable business model that's been around for decades and add new, proprietary technology to it? How about being able to operate in under 1,000 sq ft instead of 5,000 sq ft? How about being able to operate the complete business with one person instead of ten? How about profit margins over 70%? It's real. Not only does the technology work, but we've built a real, profitable store based on it that has been operating since August of 2016 and turned profitable in its 4th month of operation. The very latest store opened just in May of 2022 and broke even in its very first month. Over 30,000 batteries have been processed by us to develop our proprietary equipment, software and business methods in just the Reno shop alone.
Imagine: you buy, exchange, are donated, or are even paid to remove dead and weak batteries for $0 to $10 typically, you put them on our machines to repair them, then sell them for $25 or more each. Stores can set their own prices, so it's all within your control. Cheap batteries with good warranties sell themselves when new ones are costing $120 or more and rising.
We've begun manufacturing our technology and packaging our business methods and resources, enabling us to sell these franchise-like operations as well as the secret equipment that makes them operate on a whole new level than their competition. People are amazed when they walk into our tiny store and find out what we do, and that we do it all here. They love the environmentally friendly part, a truly green business, they love the community benefit, and they love saving money. And people will tell you how much they appreciate the service your business provides them and the community. You will meet other people in business, young people just getting started, people in hardship, car lovers, RVers, all kinds.
Our model can also be added to existing businesses like auto repair shops, smog shops, tire shops and more, to greatly increase your revenues and walk-in traffic. And even better, it adds immensely to your profit without imposing much additional overhead on an already going business.
If you're looking for a piece of the next big thing, this unique start-up could be the one for you. We are seeking new partners and entrepreneurs who want to be on the ground floor of this incredible opportunity.
The License Package
Please feel free to contact us via phone or email with any questions you may have. See the contact information at the bottom of this page.
Here is a link to our 14 page store prospectus, 1-RevoltStoreProspectus19-10-15. It should answer many of your questions. This document is older, but it's still very accurate, and the numbers have only gotten better since then. Also, below there are many links to videos and other resources that will help inform you quickly. Our goal with our first 10 pre-franchise stores is to do everything we can to guarantee their success, as these will be the stars on stage for the future prospective franchisees.
The public release of the machines, the store licenses, and everything else is at its infancy and pre-franchise (released July 2019), so many of the finer details are still flexible and developing.
The ReVolt Battery Exchange store license package is $34,000, and comes with a whole bunch of things that are broken down in more detail and can be sent later at your request. But the main thing is 15 (at $1,600 each) of the amazing new ReVolt AuGoose reconditioning machines. These are literally the "secret sauce" that makes this business so efficient. We are the designers and makers of these machines. We are selling pre-franchise licensing right now, so this license has no forced fees, demands of continuance, or methods: you're free to carry it forward as you see fit for a single location per license. Being on the ground floor, it is the most lucrative and least expensive time to get in on this opportunity, as prices will increase, territories may fill, and franchise bindings will go into place as time moves forward.
This license is for only one location and must respect the radius of exclusion of other ReVolt Stores. But more store licenses can be purchased at a discount after the first.
If there is one thing that stands out about this business that surprises me, it's how many people are genuinely grateful to have this service available to them. I've never had a business that I've had to order so many business cards for so regularly.
A California Case Study
Our latest battery store licensee at the time opened in California near the end of December 2019. He opened a ReVolt Battery Recycling system inside of his smog shop. As we've said, the operation can be made to take very little space. Utilizing other wasted space and personnel who regularly have idle time, his initial overhead for this operation was below $300 a month. This operation used about 600 sq ft within his smog shop and had started filling up the battery recycling bays even before we left from the installation, and began selling his first batteries within days.
Background and Technology
What is also provided below is a bunch of links to give you the background information on the technology that allows this recycling store to work. Used battery businesses are nothing new: they've been around since the early 1900s, and they're usually successful and have a long life. But what makes this new concept so unique is the technology that allows you to do it almost anywhere, with far less space and equipment, no dangerous chemicals, very clean, and most importantly, far fewer people and in less time.

- Here is a link to a video that shows the progression of a battery from intake through the process and back on the sales floor to sell. While it does show the process, it does not cover the actual use of the AuGoose models, which is proprietary to store owners only, so the battery is shown being reconditioned on the ReVolt Pro-S1, the prosumer version that is publicly available: Following a battery from the beginning to end at the ReVolt Battery Exchange.
